So You Think You Know About the Anglican Church!
So often what we remember from our preparation for Confirmation in the Church is really lost in the mist of time. Following is a short version of the highlights that might either refresh your memories or renew your understanding of what are the historical foundational pillars that have led us to the Anglican worship and liturgy that you find in most parishes today.
The people of All Saints, Burnaby overwhelmingly said that they wished to learn more about the Daily Office, or a daily practice of prayer that they might use at home. Anglicanism 101 provides the opportunity to learn about the Daily Office, its ancient beginnings and its place in sustaining and supporting the community of faith here at All Saints.
We believe that by learning what we do, and why we do it, the history and the learning together will continue to support the growth that we see within our parish community.
